All my life I’ve been in the dark,
But all it took was just one little spark.
One little spark of recognition
To turn the key in my ignition.
Now with engine started
I set on a path uncharted
Led only by the Grace
And the Love shown on His face.
Where this road will lead I do not know;
But, “What you sow is what you’ll reap.” This—I know.
So, heeding this precautionary advice,
On this road I find no tics or lice;
I find only joy and happiness
And all sorts of heavenly gladness.
If not for that one little spark,
Surely, I’d still be in the dark.
But all it took was just one little spark.
One little spark of recognition
To turn the key in my ignition.
Now with engine started
I set on a path uncharted
Led only by the Grace
And the Love shown on His face.
Where this road will lead I do not know;
But, “What you sow is what you’ll reap.” This—I know.
So, heeding this precautionary advice,
On this road I find no tics or lice;
I find only joy and happiness
And all sorts of heavenly gladness.
If not for that one little spark,
Surely, I’d still be in the dark.
