Rolling, flowing, green-grass hills,
‘Round roads that twist and bend.
Rocky ledges, waterfalls,
They seem to never end.
Tall trees in forests, miles wide,
Give shade and homes as well.
To the creatures, big and small,
That in these forests dwell.
And somewhere near these forests dark,
A crystal river flows.
Over rocks and fallen limbs,
So clear the bottom shows.
Far away, on sandy shores,
The ocean meets the land.
The coastal wind, with tides flowing in,
And then back out again.
Great open plains, with low, rolling hills,
Covered with grass and flowers.
Red and yellow, orange and blue,
Brought to bear with springtime showers.
You’ll never know just what it’s like,
In these places green and blue.
Until you go, so get up and go,
Out in the world God has given you!
‘Round roads that twist and bend.
Rocky ledges, waterfalls,
They seem to never end.
Tall trees in forests, miles wide,
Give shade and homes as well.
To the creatures, big and small,
That in these forests dwell.
And somewhere near these forests dark,
A crystal river flows.
Over rocks and fallen limbs,
